The Village Hidden in the Abyss (Introductory Arc1)

As Hiro charged forth the man quickly drew his Kunai, clashing against him with easy. The man's larger frame and power clearly apparent. Cutting off Junin's path was three kunai, it was in this moment the enemy had realized their third member was disguised as one of their own.
"Anji move, you're surronded!" Could be heard from the tree line. However the man was already locked up with the young Uzumaki thus unable to respond with out leaving himself open to the red head.

Realizes that the enemy knows, and aims to inflict an open wound on the preoccupied ninja, hoping for the element of surprise to still be somewhat apparent.

Stayed engaged with his opponent, only just realizing his teammate had disguised himself as one of their's. The young Uzumaki likely wouldn't be able to over power his foe, although he should provide enough of a distraction for a lethal blow to be dealt. -Good job-. He thought, a light smirk appearing across his face.

Junin attempts to deflect the three kunai coming at him, before continuing his dash toward the large enemy ninja. He sees the second one with the kunai slash at the other ninja and realizes what is going on and leaps back to safety, hoping his teammates have this covered. He begins to look for another enemy.

The frustration was building with the Lock Ninja, the ambush was failing. The easy thing to do was retreat, they where down four men and to kids at that. Then the image of Miro shoving a kunai up and under the ribs of Anji was seen.

Junin was able to deflect the Kunai mostly sustaining a few minor cuts thanks to the forward momentum, before sliding to a stop and jumping backwards. Anji was still standing, but his death was a certain. They didn't have a medic, not like one would be able to heal that wound anyways. Giving a hand signal the three began to throw a combination of smoke bombs and Explosive note laced Kunai. Anji would understand surely. Then before they even hit the mark they formed their seals and sizzling could be heard as a thick black smoke covered the area. If there was any luck the three upstarts would die and they'd scavage later. At worse their retreat was covered.

Along with Hiro, they lift the ninja they were engaged with and hops back away from the explosions of smoke, the battle had been won, and Miros Ego never higher.

Looked over towards Miro, and nodded. The Uzumaki knew what would soon follow had they allowed the explosive notes to hit the man infront of them. Sure, he didn't like him, and he was definitely a failure, but he had been betrayed by his own comrades, and Hiro pitied him for that. Latching on to his enemies arm, he'd leap in the direction Miro had chosen, hoping to save the ninja, for now at least.

Junin hearing the sizzling and knowing what that normally means as a ninja he gathers all his strength and leaps backwards as far as he can. He silently prays that his teammates are alright.

The explosions rocked the area as dozen of explosive notes rang out. The sheer force knocking the three from their feet as the thick black smoke filled the area and attempted to invade their lungs. The three remaining Lock Ninja used the cover to flee, knowing if their plan had succeeded they'd reap the rewards later. Anji however crashed to the ground, gasping as he slammed into the ground. It was looking grim, if the smoke didn't smother him, his wound would.

"Miro, we have to locate that ninja!" He shouted, covering his mouth, and dashing back towards the smoke in an attempt to locate the surviving Lock ninja.

"Alright!" Miro rips a portion of his clothing off and begins searching frantically in all the dust and smoke to find the likely ill-fated ninja, planning to wrap his wound as soon as he found him.

The explosion throws junin backwards hard and he feels his back slam into a tree knocking the breath out of him. He slides down the tree and his vision is blurry as he coughs up a little blood.
"Fuck that probably cracked a rib, at least no shrapnel that I can see." He then remembers his teammates were nearby and he begins to panic.
"Hiro! Miro! where are you?" He jumps to his feet and winces slightly as his vision stays blurry, he stumbles forward slowly into the smokescreen, tanto still at the ready beside him.

"We're looking for the one thats alive follow my voice! Im gonna try to fan all this smoke out!" Miro removes his shirt and begins fanning the immediate area.

Continued sifting through the smoke, attempting to fan what ever bit of smoke he could out of the way.

"Help us look, Juunin!"

He begins to look for the 3rd shinobi they had as a captive.
"Who am I looking for? I can't see anything in this fucking smoke!"
He stumbles through the smoke, holding the sleeve of his shirt over his mouth as a sort of filter trying to keep himself from coughing more.

Having fanned most of the smoke out, Miro spots the ninja and immediately wraps his wound and pressures it. "Are you conscious?"

Having heard Miro speaking, Hiro would leap out of the smoke, awaiting for it to clear. He'd clearly found who they were looking for, but would he be able to keep him from dying?

"Try to get him out of there!"

"lets head back!" Miro throws the wounded ninja over his shoulder and began heading out.

Junin finally clears the smoke and limps toward his teammates. "I think that blast broke a rib"

"We should probably locate the supplies and head back, Yeah." He stated, looking around for the supplies they'd been tasked with protecting. If he were to locate them, he'd be on his way back towards the village, one mission in the books.

The supplies where found a bit out in the tree line. Rough up but still in tact. The Lock ninja unconscious and still bleeding heavily.

"Try to patch him up a bit, or he will probably die." He sighed lightly, coming to a halt.

"Alright, here." Miro lays the ninja down.

"Yeah, never mind. We can't help that."

Arriving back at the village, the squad drops the barely alive ninja off at the medical center. "Well, I guess we should get back and brief about the mission."
