The Village Hidden in the Abyss (Introductory Arc1)

As the fog of the second great Shinobi War ended, the fall of Uzushiogakure left it's survivors scrambling. In Demon country, as if to take advantage of the wounds of the great Five Demon country established their first Hidden Village. Taking in refugees from Whirlpool and any rogues who where willing to devote themselves to the Priestess. Quickly going through the most basic of training all those who showed promise where given their headbands as well as mastery over the most basic techniques available and immediately sent into the field to earn reputation for the new village. The thought process behind it was to steal the business from the Big 5. This leads us to Junin, Hiro, and Miro. A three man cell of Genin currently in conflict on the border of Key Country. Pinned down with a shipment of medicinal supplies by Lock Ninja.

The three man cell, having been pinned down, had to think of something quick. Hiro was definitely the most adept of the three, or at least, in his mind he was. He moved his hand towards his pack, checking his weapon supplies. "Alright...I have 10 kunai left..." He mumbled, looking towards his team. If he'd wanted to make it through this mission, he'd have to put his trust in these two.

"We need to get these medical supplies back to the village....we need some sort of distraction." He stated, shifting his vision towards Juunin. He was definitely lighter on his feet than most. "Can you do it?"

Junin gripped his sword tightly and shifted his stance at the ready.

"I'll charge forward, you two cover me with kunai and ill try to clear the distance quickly enough to find us an open."

He looks for something next to the group pinning them down and goes through handsigns preparing a substitution. He glances back at his teammates, giving them a small smile before charging ahead with a battlecry.

Miro prepares a Kunai in each hand, giving himself a small slit on the back of his hand, to have some blood prepared for any sticky situation. "Alright, sounds like a plan, lets do this." Miro proceeds to follow behind Junin alongside Hiro, making sure to keep an eye out of every surrounding and listening for any sign of back attacks or flanks, Miro has put 100% trust into Junin as his frontline for this battle.

Junin burst into the opening seeing several Lock Ninja in what appeared to be flak jackets. As if predetermined their Kunai flew through the air in his direction. A sinister smirk appearing on one of the mens faces as a few flew over head into the area of the other two and the other thunking into the large log taking Junin's place. A clink of his tongue was the only audible sound.

A light smirk appeared across his face as a kunai flew towards him. He'd been preparing for situations such as this since he'd joined the academy, and now he'd be able to show the fruits of his labor. Quickly pulling a kunai from his pouch, he'd swirl it around his finger, before bringing it out infront of him, deflecting the Kunai from his person. "You'll need to do better then that if you're wanting these supplies." He stated, and with a quick flick of his wrist, he'd release his kunai hurdling towards one of his foes. It'd likely only have been a distraction at best, but they still didn't have a concrete plan in place.

Junin appears slightly behind the ninja pinning his team down, ninjato already at the ready. He says a silent prepare before attempting to backstab the ninja directly in front of him.

Using the kunai in his hand, Miro deflects the incoming kunai, then begins to sprint toward the closest enemy, using the kunai stained with his own blood to swing and attempt to make a wound any way possible on the enemy.

As the Valley Team rallied against their enemy four of them fell back. Junin's strike found true on one of the Lock ninja, piercing his kidney.
Miro strike was effortly blocked as the enemy sent a fierce kick in his direction. Aiming for the midsection in order to knock the boy back.
As Hiro's Kunai was effortly dodged, the smirking Enemy forming a hand sign as sizzling could be heard from several aera's.

The sizzling noise was a dead give away for Hiro. He'd heard that many of times during his training sessions with his father, so he knew just what he'd have to do. Going through a series of hand signs, he'd eye a spot in the tree line towards the east of the group. As the bombs went off, a log would replace his body, ultimately dodging the assault of the paper bombs. "Tch, they're a bit more well equipped than we are...but I do have this..." He thought to himself, pulling an explosive note along side a kunai from his pouch. Now, gripping it tightly, he'd place the paper bomb on his weapon, launching it, and aiming towards the center of the ninja. With any luck, his team would see it coming.

Miro throws up hand signs as he could tell some tags were probably going off from the sizzling nearby, as he could see his comrade Hiro doing the same hand seals. As he re appeared from substituting, he would put his own blood on a kunai from the same wound as earlier and sling them at the enemy.

Junin pulls his sword out, praying that was a lethal hit like his training said it would be. He immediately goes searching for another target. "Gotta thin the numbers to clear them a path" he mumbles before feeling the shockwave and a loud boom from the direction of his teammates.

"Oh no" he whispers horrified and angry.

The explosion rattled the local landscape, as one of the lock nin's bodies collapsed to the ground, bleeding profusely from the side. The two ninja in view quickly turn to engage with Junin, dodging the Kunai Miro and Hiro had thrown. Each with a Kunai in hand. The other four began to stealthfully in-circle the battle ground via the tree line.

Jumps down beside Junin with a kunai in his hand, as to not let his teammate be at a disadvantage in a 1 on 2. "We got this, easy." He says as he stares directly into the eyes of the enemy, smirking.

Hiro threw his hands up, quickly making a seal. A light sizzling sensation could be heard, before the explosive tag blew up, engulfing the surrounding area. "Did it work...?" He questioned, hoping his team mate was able to get clear of the blast. A light sigh could be heard as he jumps back down towards the battlefield, awaiting to see what had occurred once the dust had settled.

Junin hears a sizzling nearby and only has time to let out a small "Oh fu....." before leaping backwards as quickly as he can with all the speed he can muster.

Jumps into the treeline as Hiro executes an explosive tag, after landing, in the midst of the explosion and dust, he uses transformation come a copy of the enemy before stealthily going into the treeling awaiting further action from everyone.

The explosion behind the enemy sent their bodies hurdling forward in Junin's direction who barely jumped in time.
Miro's landing was a bit shakey on a tree limb just above, as the voices of the enemy could be heard clearly in the area.
"Surrender the supplies and live. We have you three surrounded." Each begin to prep another Kunai attack still hidden among the trees.
"Your luck will run out eventually, and a mission failure is a lot easier to stomach than a few green Shinobi being picked up on an enemy boarder. Think about it kids. Do you and your infant village really want to spark a conflict?"

Quickly moves over to the voices in the treeline, "You heard him. Surrender now. You dont want this war, we promise."

Began scanning his surroundings as he begins hearing voices. "A mission failure isn't something I can let happen." He stated, reaching into his pack once more, and pulling out another kunai. Hiro was adept at most forms of combat, and he definitely wouldn't shy away from hand to hand if it came down to it. He'd slip into a light stance, preparing himself for what ever it is that would be coming. It's quite likely they were out of their league, but he doesn't like Failures after all.

Junin attempts to duck under the 2 bodies flying toward him and getting his weapon ready again. He knew deep down that this was going to boil down to each members moves in the next few moments. Would it be war, or a successful mission.

The enemy held position watching two of the member ready themselves. The Uzumaki could fetch a good price if sold. But the Lock Village didn't look to stoop to such level. However their mission was clear. Ambush and retrieve any caravans on the boarder.
"Failure is the lose of life kid. For an Uzumaki, you should understand how valuable life is. Think of your clans lineage." As he spoke he began surveying his surroundings. One of those kids where missing, but where was he.
"Now if you sit the supplies down and lower your stance we'll send one of ours down to retrieve them. However if you refuse we will launch another barrage. In this situation you can die and with the small amount of man power and political power your nation has, there is no way any repercussions will effect us. Or hand it over and walk away." One of the Lock Ninja then dropped from the tree line in a show he was ready for retrieval. His eyes bouncing between the three dead bodies of his comrades, the voice from the tree line breaking through once more.
"Your call brats."

Jumps down and pulls a kunai toward Hiro and Junin. "Its about time you hand em over. Dont make this harder than it has to be."

"Bad choice." The kid shouted, leaping off his back foot, and launching himself towards the ninja that'd shown himself. It was quite apparent he wasn't going to back down, and definitely wouldn't simply call it quits on his first mission. He knew of his lineage, and the destruction that'd occurred in the past, but he was going to change that at all cost. As he came in close quarters with his opponent, he'd send a quick slice towards his mid-section, hoping to bait out some form of opening.

Junin tries to use the momentary distraction from Hiro charging as a way to flank his enemy. He kicks off his dominate foot and charges the hopefully distracted enemy, his blade at the ready and calmly accepting that he may have to take another life.
