The story of Hiro begins in the village known as the Whirl pool village. It was known to house his clan for quite some time, however a war ended in the destruction of his home lands. This was quite the unfortunate series of events which ended up forcing his family into becoming refugee's. This had been something they weren't that accustomed to, however, they'd quickly found a new village which didn't care to house them. It was a village of misfits, thieves, and bandits, but it'd just began it's ninja program, and had been looking into becoming known to the world. Hiro, being at the age of consent, determined it would be in his best interest to join this academy, so that he may further his determination and goals.

His academy arc wasn't out of the normal. He had some rivals, if you could call them that, and even had a few females falling for him. He had quite a good amount of memories within the academy, but he'd have to toss those thoughts aside so that he could begin the adventure that matters. He'd quickly passed all the tests, and even became one of the top contenders for "best genin". Hiro's parents were quite proud of him, and on this 12th birthday, began teaching him their clan's special techniques. Although he hadn't really grasped the concept of fuinjutsu just yet, he was confident he'd become a master eventually.
